SWCC Desalination Brine Zero Liquid Discharge Commercial Exploitation Project JDA Signed, and Project Company Established.

On January 8, 2024, JSG and SWCC signed a joint development agreement JDA. All subsequent development of the project will be based on this agreement, including the documents and approval processes required by the government.

The project development goal is to achieve maximum value and the most diversified products for 380,000 cubic meters of concentrated brine per day.

The main features of this solution are the integration of power generation and steam, the integration of low-temperature multi-effect evaporation MED and mechanical evaporation MVR technologies into one, extracting calcium sulfate through the seed method, heating evaporation, mechanical evaporation and forced circulation to obtain distilled water, crystallized sodium chloride, Potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate, etc., the final bromide salts will also be sold or continued (in the second phase) to be extracted and further utilized to achieve pollution-free zero liquid discharge, green zero-discharge environmentally friendly seawater desalination and the full utilization of marine resources. use

On February 4, 2024, the establishment of the project company "Environmental Protection Seawater Desalination Co., Ltd." was completed. According to the JDA agreement, the company will be the main undertaking of the 25-year operation rights of 380,000 tons of concentrated brine.
