During the 10th China-Arab Forum Entrepreneurs Conference on June 12, 2023, a formal signing ceremony of the

 Head of Terms/HOT for the SWCC Desalination Brine Commercial Exploitation Zero Liquid Discharge Project was held at the SWCC headquarters in Riyadh. .

On November 1, 2023, this project was officially included in the Saudi national NOR (NON-OIL REVENUE DEVELOPMENT CENTER) project support list.
